For the Framery World Conference, the second time really was the charm! FWC ’19 presented its participants with an opportunity to take part in a truly different kind of professional gathering in a changing, inspiring setting and we really think it all went according to plan!

The world’s leading expert in happiness research. Ph.D. in psychology, author, speaker and research scientist whose work and talks have inspired hundreds of audiences. In addition to teaching through the Yale School of Management Executive Education program she has spoken and held workshops at a large number of Fortune 500 organisations, and is also the Science Director at the Stanford Center For Compassion And Altruism Research And Education.
Caroline Quick

in workplace experience
Helping executives and leaders in HR, real estate, operations, and finance at rapid-growth tech companies scale their businesses, Caroline Quick is a world-class specialist in workplace experience and real estate leadership. Her expertise was one of the key factors in expanding Twitter from a 100 to 3,000+ employees. Backed by Leesman’s vast database compiled from over 2000 workplaces in 70 countries, Rothe’s unique insight on the subject and Activity Based Working (ABW) is the basis for a captivating keynote.
Nash Hurley
Founding Principal at VITAL
Nash Hurley is the founding Principal at VITAL, and leads the firm as it translates user research into compelling architectural solutions. He builds teams from VITAL’s in-house designers and outside partners and leads them through a process of discovery, design, documentation, and fabrication. By focusing on user behaviors and rethinking existing material supply chains, Nash has delivered innovative designs for Google, NRG, Kilroy, DivcoWest, Jamestown Properties, Wikimedia, the Smithsonian, SoundHound, Fireclay Tile, and the Tides Foundation. His current work includes leading research and development initiatives for Google’s new campus development projects. Nash has a Bachelors in Economics from Amherst College and a Masters of Architecture from UC Berkeley. He is a a Registered Architect in New York, California and Washington, DC.


Primo Orpilla
Co–founder of Studio O+A
Primo Orpilla is the co-founder of Studio O+A, a multi-disciplinary San Francisco design firm that has changed the way we think about work and workplace. O+A’s groundbreaking designs for Facebook, Microsoft, Yelp, Nike, McDonald’s, Slack and many other companies have demonstrated the power of design to make the work environment a catalyst for creativity and a vehicle for change. As Global Chair of Student Experience at IIDA, he works to promote design education and expand opportunities for young people in the profession. A frequent lecturer on design and the future of workplace, Primo speaks at schools and design conferences globally, empowering the next generation of designers. In 2016 O+A won the Cooper Hewitt Design Award for Interior Design. In 2017 FRAME Publishers released a comprehensive retrospective of the firm’s work: Studio O+A: Twelve True Tales of Workplace Design. Most recently this year became awarded 2019 ASID, Designer of Distinction.
